SEISMA Magazine just put out three new poems of mine that you can read here (or just watch a video of me reading them in a forest preserve with a hawthorn tree camera person).
This is the second time my work has appeared in SEISMA and it’s a really lovely publication I feel lucky to be included in.
The piece about crabs was partly inspired by a friend of mine showing up to rent a beach house and being shocked at how cheap it was but then discovering it was crab mating season and the place was covered with them. She said they were doing it behind the toilet and you could hear them clanking around under the bed at night. That sweet sweet clatter clatter.
I also wrote the one about soil as part of a submission to a journal called 3 Elements where each issue they choose three random words that must be included in your submission. They rejected it but I still liked the exercise.
Here poems!
