Writing Prompts #1
From the depths of the archives...
After every online workshop we do, I will share the writing prompts we cover, but since I have an immense repository of these prompts from the last three years of workshops, I’ll share those here as well. Here are the first two prompts we did:
Read “The End of Poetry” " by Ada Limón
List ten things that are rare to you
Write a poem to someone or something who has access to one of those rare things
Read First Kiss by Tim Seibles (Or watch this cartoon of it)
List ten “firsts” in your life
Pick one and write about what it felt like and maybe use like a simile or something
